Steve Shea – Managing Director, President and Founder

Steve Shea is President and Founder of SPS Consulting Group, which began in 2000 with a mission to provide strategic recruiting and consulting services to Fortune 1,000 sourcing, procurement and supply chain organizations. Prior to starting SPS Consulting, Steve held a range of executive procurement and supply chain positions and has a wealth of experience from his work with JCPenney Company, Emery Worldwide and Citizens Communications. In 2000, Steve began his consulting career forming SPSCG. He was later recruited by The Lucas Group to develop and lead their procurement and supply chain practice and then Huron Consulting Group to help grow and lead their global procurement practice. Steve has consulted for an extensive list of private and public entities. He is seen as a trusted search consultant and as an advisor with a keen sense for break-through best practices, organization and sourcing strategy, transformation assessment, design and implementation. SPS Consulting Group is a leading boutique provider of permanent and contract executive search services and strategic and operational consulting services for major pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CPG, retail, communication, consumer electronics, financial services, life sciences and higher education clients.
